Dirigible Brewing Co. — Meet the Makers
When Colin and Chris first began discussing potential concepts for their brewery, they were unwavering in their goal to create a brand defined by a unique identity and a unified concept. Drawing on their experience in attending various Steampunk festivals over the years, they wholeheartedly decided to integrate the Steampunk aesthetic into their brewery's theme. Opting for the Steampunk style was especially apt due to its perfect alignment with the rich array of colors associated with beer - ranging from bold reds and opulent golds to earthy brass tones, deep browns, and elegant blacks.
Dirigible Brewing Company aims to be a community and family-oriented brewery. For the uninitiated, a dirigible is any lighter-than-air craft that is self-propelled and has steering capabilities. Dirigibles are one of the more iconic structures of a Steampunk world. Steampunk is a genre of science fiction where the world never really progressed past steam technology. It focuses on the hand-crafted or man-made, instead of more industrial practices. Everything starts with freshest ingredients - the crew sources from as many local farmers as they can find, resulting in a higher-quality end product. These end products include beer and hard seltzer, but also non-alcoholic offerings such as craft sodas, coffee, and flavored seltzers.
